PrettyLayered Store Policy
Welcome to PrettyLayered. By visiting PrettyLayered.net or purchasing from our online store, you agree to the following policies.
Handmade 3D-Printed Products
Our products are created individually using 3D-printing technology. Minor variations are a normal part of the manufacturing process and may include:
Visible layer lines
Small surface imperfections
Slight differences in color, texture, size, or placement
Minor marks where supports were removed
Differences caused by filament batches or screen settings
These characteristics do not normally indicate that an item is defective. Product colors may also appear slightly different in person than they do on your screen.
Product Safety
Unless expressly identified otherwise, PrettyLayered products are decorative collectibles and are not intended for children under three years old.
Some products may contain small parts, magnets, pointed details, or articulated pieces that could create choking, pinching, or injury hazards. Adult supervision is required when products are handled by children.
Products are not intended for food contact, medical use, extreme heat, open flames, prolonged outdoor exposure, or use as safety equipment unless specifically stated in the product description.
PrettyLayered is not responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse, improper handling, modification, or use contrary to the product description.
Orders and Payment
Customers are responsible for providing accurate billing, shipping, and contact information.
An order may be declined or canceled if:
Payment cannot be verified
Information appears inaccurate or incomplete
An item is unavailable
Fraudulent or unauthorized activity is suspected
A pricing or listing error occurred
If we cancel a paid order, the applicable purchase amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
Custom and Personalized Orders
Custom-made, personalized, color-selected, made-to-order, and specially scaled products are created specifically for the customer. These orders are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or materially differ from the approved order details.
Customers are responsible for reviewing names, spelling, colors, dimensions, and other selections before submitting an order. Production may begin shortly after purchase, so changes are not guaranteed.
If a customer provides artwork, logos, names, characters, or other materials for a custom order, the customer confirms that they have permission to use those materials. PrettyLayered may refuse any request that could violate intellectual-property rights or applicable law.
Order Changes and Cancellations
Cancellation or modification requests must be submitted as quickly as possible through our website contact form.
We cannot guarantee that an order can be changed or canceled after production has begun. Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items cannot be canceled once production starts.
Processing and Shipping
Processing estimates shown on our website are estimates, not guaranteed completion or delivery dates. Large, complex, or custom prints may require additional production time.
Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, carrier delays are outside PrettyLayered’s direct control. Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate delivery address.
If a package is returned because of an incorrect address, refused delivery, or failure to collect it, the customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges before it is sent again.
PrettyLayered is not responsible for packages marked as delivered by the carrier. Customers should first check the delivery area, household members, neighbors, and the shipping carrier. We will provide reasonable assistance with available tracking information.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us through the PrettyLayered.net contact form within three calendar days of delivery. Please include:
Your order number
A description of the problem
Clear photographs of the item
Photographs of the packaging and shipping label
An unboxing video, when available
Do not discard the item or packaging until the claim has been reviewed.
After review, PrettyLayered may provide a replacement, store credit, partial refund, or refund, depending on the circumstances. A replacement may be required instead of a refund when the issue can reasonably be corrected.
Normal layer lines, minor support marks, slight color differences, movable-joint stiffness, and other ordinary characteristics of 3D printing are not considered defects.
Returns and Exchanges
Because most PrettyLayered products are made to order, returns and exchanges are generally not accepted for:
Changes of mind
Incorrect colors, sizes, or options selected by the customer
Custom or personalized items
Minor characteristics inherent to 3D printing
Items damaged through misuse or improper handling
Products that have been altered, repaired, or modified after delivery
Any return accepted by PrettyLayered must receive prior authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable unless the order was incorrect or arrived damaged due to our error.
This policy does not limit any rights that cannot legally be waived.
Articulated Products
Articulated prints may loosen naturally with regular use. Small pieces, joints, tails, wings, and decorative details must be handled carefully.
Damage caused by pulling, bending, dropping, forcing a joint, exposing the product to heat, or other improper handling is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Intellectual Property and Brand Protection
All original PrettyLayered photographs, videos, graphics, written descriptions, packaging designs, logos, branding, and website content are owned by or licensed to PrettyLayered and may not be copied, downloaded, reproduced, distributed, or used commercially without prior written permission.
Purchasing a product does not grant permission to:
Claim the product or its design as your own creation
Use PrettyLayered photographs, videos, descriptions, or branding
Use the PrettyLayered name or logo to promote another business
Create molds, scans, digital reproductions, or manufacturing files from our products
Manufacture copies or authorize another party to reproduce a product
Commercially resell PrettyLayered products without written authorization
Any permitted resale must clearly identify the item as a PrettyLayered product and must not suggest an official partnership, dealership, or affiliation without written approval.
Third-party characters, trademarks, and designs remain the property of their respective owners.
Promotions and Discount Codes
Discounts and promotional offers:
Must be used within the stated promotional period
Cannot be combined unless expressly permitted
Cannot normally be applied to previous purchases
May exclude certain products or custom orders
Have no cash value
PrettyLayered may correct, modify, or cancel a promotion affected by an error, misuse, or unauthorized distribution.
Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
Please contact PrettyLayered before opening a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Submitting a knowingly false or fraudulent chargeback may result in the customer’s account and future orders being declined. We reserve the right to provide order records, communications, delivery confirmation, and other relevant documentation to payment processors and financial institutions.
Privacy
Customer information is used to process orders, provide customer service, prevent fraud, and operate our store. We do not sell customers’ personal information.
Payment information is processed through our authorized payment providers and is subject to their respective privacy and security practices.
Policy Updates
PrettyLayered may update these policies as the business, website, or legal requirements change. The version posted on PrettyLayered.net at the time of purchase will generally apply to that order.
Governing Law
These policies are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any provision found unenforceable will be limited or removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
